CASE STUDY OVERVIEW
PROJECT SCOPE
TES sourced 40 kW natural gas generators from Gillette Generators for their open-architecture design incorporating industry-standard, readily available non-proprietary components. Each unit was paired with a 200 A ASCO automatic transfer switch, to enable a smooth transition to backup power during outages.
INTEGRATED SOLUTION
- Foundations: Designed, poured and anchored concrete pads to manufacturer and site-specific load requirements for long-term stability and alignment for the generator enclosures
- Electrical systems: Engineered and installed new service conduits, wiring and transfer switch alarm integrations aligned with local codes and the National Electrical Code
- Gas infrastructure: Coordinated directly with CenterPoint Energy to extend and connect natural gas service to multiple remote locations
- Permitting and compliance: Managed all city permitting, inspection and documentation processes for each jurisdiction
Leveraging in-house engineering capabilities, TES executed all drawings, site surveys and electrical designs internally, providing precision, consistency and streamlined communications throughout the project lifecycle.
